Guru :
O son, you must explore and know the history of what I have related to you, without abandoning the beauty of certitude and determination. You should hold onto the vale of faith which is the power of determination.
Then you will become a male human and a moustache will grow on your face. You will venture forth to find your Father and walk in search of Him in both the worlds.
In the course of your search you will come across the ten hidden sinners of the earth. There are ten of them. They will try to obstruct you. They will try to attract you, claiming themselves to be your father, your cousin and your relative.
You should hold on to the vale of the power of determination and get rid of them. You should attack them and chase them away. They are not weak. They are sakkthi ( power ).
They have many powers and many appearances. They will play cunning games without your seeing them and without your knowing them. They will intermingle with you. They will appear to be beneficial to you but cause loss to your souls. These ten persons will reside hidden inside the same palace created by the same Parakarunathan ( The Primal One ) . Let me tell you more particulars of these ten. Listen.
Two of them are intoxication and sex and they possess qualities that darken your heart. They are blind without the eye of the heart. They are fools without any wisdom.
Another three are those who reside inside the dark room using the darkness as light. They are the thieves, murderers and liars. These are the ancient (aathi ) enemies. They are blind without the eye of the heart and fools without wisdom or knowledge. They are devoid of the feeling of the five letters, panchadcharam, and give rise to mental diseases arising out of obsession.
These five persons will burn into ash the places where God occupies on earth and kill, destroy and put you into several births. They are known as the panchama-pathakam” the five great sins.
You must know this clearly and escape. There are yet five others who are their elder brothers. They destroy God, burn the Sakthi, destroy faith, defame the saints, turn God into stone, change patience into emptiness, silence the truth, turn the noble into the devil, turn virtuous women into prostitutes and make friends of the ten sins. These are the five fearless animals. Let me give you their names. Listen.
They are impatience, haste, ego (“I” ness ), self- destroying deception and jealousy that will eventually destroy you.
Son, these are the ten persons who shake the world, making it move by infusing their potentiality and make it their own. They convert the Manu-eesan ( Man the Divine ) to man the (Sub) human. They reveal their powers of mantra and create torpor in man and expose him to various enticing forms.
They eradicate the potentialities of man the divine, displace the good songs, conceal the third eye, destroy reason and justice and make prominent the destructive qualities.
O son, these ten are the animals without clarity of mind that destroy the body and the world. It is not possible to relate the evil dances they perform.
You should kill them with the weapon of faith and determination and trample them under your foot. I say this with emphasis. You should always be full of determination and win with certainty.
My son, those who win in this manner are very rare in this world.
For instance, look at the symbol that depicts Nadarajah who won over the ten devils, trampled them under his foot and meditated standing on one solitary foot.
Melt your heart and dance praising only Him. Dance along with your heart in relationship with your body. He will stand and dance with you there, the Good Charactered , Calm Form, the Perfect Melting heart, the Exalted True Flame, the Aathparam ( the Primal One ).
You must observe this keenly.
When you are like this, your body which is made up of earth, water, fire, air and ether should be in a state of purification.
